If You Keep Going - Your Storm Will be Over


A lady was driving along with her father. They came upon a storm, and the young lady asked her father, What should I do?" 

He said "keep driving"..Cars began to pull over to the side, the storm was getting worse. "What should I do." The young lady asked? "



Keep driving," her father replied. On up a few feet, she noticed that eighteen wheelers were also pulling over. She told her dad, "I must pull over, I can barely see ahead. It is terrible, and everyone is pulling over!" 


Her father told her,"Don't give up, just keep driving!" Now the storm was terrible, but she never stopped driving, and soon she could see a little more clearly. After a couple of miles she was again on dry land, and the sun came out. Her father said, "Now you can pull over and get out." She said "But why now?" 

He said:
"When you get out, look back at all the people that gave up and are still in the storm, because you never gave up your storm is now over. 
This is a testimony for anyone who is going through "hard times". Just because everyone else, even the strongest, gives up. You don't have to...if you keep going, soon your storm will be over and the sun will shine upon your face again.

The Different Angle of Thinking - Counting Apple


A teacher teaching Maths to seven-year-old Tanu asked him, “If I give you one apple and one apple and one apple, how many apples will you have?”

Within a few seconds Tanu replied confidently, “Four!”

The dismayed teacher was expecting an effortless correct answer, three. She was  disappointed. “Maybe the child did not listen properly.” – she thought.


She repeated, “Tanu, listen carefully. If I give you one apple and one apple and one apple, how many apples will you have?”

Tanu had seen the disappointment on his teacher’s face. He calculated again on his fingers. But within him he was also searching for the answer that will make the teacher happy. His search for the answer was not for the correct one, but the one that will make his teacher happy.


This time hesitatingly he replied, “Four.”

The disappointment stayed on the teacher’s face. She remembered that Tanu liked strawberries.

She thought maybe he doesn’t like apples and that is making him loose focus.

This time with an exaggerated excitement and twinkling in her eyes she asked, “If I give you one strawberry and one strawberry and one strawberry, then how many you will have?”

Seeing the teacher happy, young Tanu calculated on his fingers again. There was no pressure on him, but a little on the teacher. She wanted her new approach to succeed.

With a hesitating smile young Tanu replied, “Three?”

The teacher now had a victorious smile. Her approach had succeeded. She wanted to congratulate herself.

But one last thing remained. Once again she asked him, “Now if I give you one apple and one apple and one more apple how many will you have?”

Promptly Tanu answered, “Four!”

The teacher was aghast. “How Tanu, how?” she demanded in a little stern and irritated voice.


In a voice that was low and hesitating young Tanu replied, “Because I already have one apple in my bag.”

The True Wealth of Any Nation - Stone on the Road


One day a farmer, walking down the street in a small town came across a large stone in the middle of his path. The farmer complained: "Who could be so careless as to leave such a big stone on the road? Why does someone not remove it?" He went away complaining.

The next day, the same thing happened with a milkman. He too went away grumbling but left the stone as it was.


Then one day, a student came across the stone. Worried that someone may fall over it and hurt himself, he decided to push it aside. He pushed long and hard all by himself and eventually managed to remove the stone from the path. He came back and noticed a piece of paper where the stone was kept.




He picked the paper and opened it. Inside was written, "You are the true wealth of this nation."

There are two kinds of people:
1.Talkers and doers.
2.Talkers merely talk, while doers do.
The moral of this story is that if you don't want to get involved you have no right to criticize  Become the change you wish to see in this world.
Service to society is the rent we pay for the space we occupy on this earth.
